While visiting friends in British Columbia, I was fascinated with a picture they had of a North American Bald Eagle facing forward, to the left and to the right. It was so captivating I took numerous photographs of it. Once I returned home, I decided to do a rendering of the eagle facing left.
My decision to use pastel as my media was based on the realization that I could develop a more alive rendering. |
