As an artist, late September and early
October have always been a favorite time of year for me. That is when the old master painter exhibits some of his most magnificent work.
Upon seeing this old barn with its weathered fence and open field, I thought of an Andrew Wyeth type work. Although the location was
out west, it could have been anywhere USA. To me, a pastel rendering seemed the best media for this scene.
