"Forest Glen in Mt. Fujiama, Japan"

When I was in the Marines, I was sometimes
assigned to courier duty from my post in Korea. On one such occasion I was fortunate enough to be given orders to go to Japan. During
my two weeks there, I had some free time. There was an opportunity to take a side trip to Mt. Fujiama. While there I came
across this most tranquil scene and immediately knew this beautiful scene must be put to canvas. With a rough sketch and many additional
pictures I felt there was enough research to finish the piece.
After my discharge I came home. It was then I reviewed some of the research I had done and determined this scene was best suited to oils.
Thus the finished product is given the name Forest Glenn in Mt. Fujiama.
