When I went skiing up at Laurel Highlands and Seven Springs in Pennsylvania , I used to pass this shack on my way to the ABC Motel. It reminded me so much of an Andrew Wyeth painting that I just had to do a rendition of it. I took many pictures in that area but this scene kept calling me to paint it. Dry watercolor was the media that was chosen for it. The finished product holds many happy memories for me.
