As a young Marine from Pennsylvania , I never
saw the ocean until my assignment to Camp Pendleton near Laguna Beach, CA. It was there I first saw the magnificence of the ocean
and the California coastline. This scenery urged me to sketch and paint the awesome beauty that was before me. My rendition of
this fantastic sight was done in oil.
