"Winter in the Black Forest"

During my years of teaching one of my opportunities was to take students to Europe for six weeks of study. It was on one such trip into the Black Forest that the beauty and uniqueness of this scene came into view. Although it was summer, my artist's eye was able to picture this landscape as a winter scene. The final product was produced in dry watercolor.
